Jesus is seeking you in love and calling you into friendship.  He invites you to encounter him personally, experience his life-changing presence, and follow him as a disciple in his Church.

Introducing Catholic ID – a chance to answer Jesus’ call to discipleship in a practical and personal way. Catholic ID is a 10-week small group experience focused on building your relationship with Jesus Christ and growing in the heart and habits of discipleship. Intentional discipleship is our essential Catholic identity! Catholic ID small groups are forming at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish – for more information, or to join a Catholic ID small group, please contact Karin Frederickson at:

What is Catholic ID?
We have been called by Archbishop Listecki to “ignite, renew and energize our faith.” Catholic Intentional Discipleship (ID) was created for that purpose. It’s your opportunity to answer Jesus’ call to discipleship in a direct and personal way. Intentional discipleship is essential to our Catholic identity. Catholic ID is a small group (six to eight people) experience that will focus on encountering Christ and growing in the heart and habits of discipleship. Are you searching for more depth in your faith journey? Then Catholic ID is for you! Become a joyful disciple, on fire for God. Ignite, renew and energize your faith!

It’s All About Relationships
Now is the time for you to sign up for one of six small groups and meet for eight to ten weeks with a trained leader or co-leader who will help guide the group in the heart and habits of a disciple.
With a workbook to help record your progress, you’ll address one chapter each week in a prayerful walk toward discipleship. An opening prayer will set the stage for the group’s focus, which changes each meeting. Scripture readings and sharing opportunities infuse the experience as are relevant connections to the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Participants will also be asked to agree upon a group discipleship resolution – a commitment to practice a shared habit of discipleship during the week. And you’ll be asked to pray for one another, for our parish and our community. These prayers will connect you to deeper relationships with other parishioners and help you answer God’s call to share your faith, witness your faith and help others grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Here is a list of group leaders and days their small groups will meet.
