Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In Eucharistic Adoration, we “watch and wait,” we remain “silent” in His Presence and open ourselves to His Graces, which flow from the Eucharist. By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be.
According to Pope Emeritus Benedict, the Latin word is ‘adoratio,’ mouth to mouth contact, a kiss, an embrace, and hence ultimately love. Submission becomes union because He to whom we submit is Love.
Please note: The September calendar showed Eucharistic Adoration every Wednesday, however, Adoration will remain on the Third Wednesday only.
