Do you know someone with a Liturgy & Music background?  Kay Moen, our Director of Liturgy and Music, will be retiring in the coming months and we’re looking for someone to take over her role.  Inquiries may be directed to Deacon Allen Olson or Teri Moseler in the parish office.

The people who participate in the St. Teresa of Calcutta music ministry are very talented, dedicated and devout.  These are the ones who move the hearts of our parish by bringing the beauty of song to our Liturgies. However, they would be most appreciative if more  people would come forward and join the choir, in particular, harmony voices.  We need women altos and you probably notice that our gentlemen are out numbered.  Please contact Kay Moen as she  eagerly waits for your response.

Pillar 2: Eucharistic Identity

As we continue with Pillar 2, our Eucharistic Identity, by focusing on two saints who were models of Eucharistic Identity.

St. Mary Magdalene faithfully remained with Jesus throughout his Passion, clinging to the foot of the Cross. She was also the first witness and herald of Christ after his Resurrection, earning her the title the “Apostle to the Apostles.”  Her awe and joy when she encountered Christ in his Paschal Mystery and her evangelization to the apostles match the call we hear at the dismissal in Mass.

For Blessed Carlos “Charlie” Manuel Rodriguez, or Blessed Charlie, his Eucharistic Identity was lived out through his devotion of the s Triduum.  He was also catechist and liturgist, beatified by St. Pope John Paull II. He was a beautiful example that through the Eucharist, every day in the Church can be called the Lord’s Day which keeps the memory of the Lord’s Resurrection alive so that the whole year is transfigured by the light of the Resurrection

The Liturgy and Worship Team

Men, you are invited to the 2025 Men of Christ Conference which will be held on March 29^th. The conference will be held live at Carroll University in Waukesha. St Teresa of Calcutta parish will be a host site which will have a video streaming of the event. This will be a fantastic experience to learn more about your faith and how to understand and accomplish the purpose God has planned for you. Primary among those is to get yourself, your family and as many others as possible to heaven. 

The theme for this year is "Courage Under Fire".  Gathering with men that are facing everyday world life and coming to a sense that we're not alone, but have a source for support and help to be the leaders we are intended and wish to be.

There are a number of exciting speakers scheduled. It will be a day for all men, both seasoned and young. It will be a day filled with laughter and camaraderie. Check out the web site menofchrist.net and learn about the speakers, and where and how to register.  Decide if you wish to go to Carroll University or attend St. Teresa of Calcutta.  The capacity at Carroll is limited and expected to fill up soon.  

Co-sponsoring Workcamp 2025

For almost 25 years our church has been sending teens and adults from our parish on Workcamp Mission Trips around the country with an organization called Group Mission Trips. This Mission Trip has changed the lives not only of the teens and adults that attend, but the community and residents that we serve in. That is why this year we decided to work with Group Mission Trips to bring a Mission Trip to our community. This means that St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish is hosting a Workcamp this Summer. Our Workcampers will be attending this local camp as their camp for the summer, and they will be staying at the Pewaukee middle school for the week. The students will sleep on the classroom floors on air mattress use the gym for Mass and programs and will go out and serve low income, disabled, elderly and veteran residents in the area. Residents will need to live within 30 minutes of the middle school. All our Workcamp regular fundraisers will still go towards our group’s participant cost, but our responsibility as co-sponsors of the camp is to find the residents that need home repair projects done, fundraise for the cost of materials and provide hospitality for the camp.

We are looking for parishioners to get involved in one of these areas:

1. Resident Application Team
2. Fundraising for cost of material (e.g. paint, lumber and supplies needed for worksite)
3. Hospitality Team with being involved the week of camp (e.g. taking popsicles to worksites, making goody bags, etc.)

Workcamp week will be July 20^th to 25^th, 2025
